Breaking the Block

I have had *SUCH* a case of writer's block the past few weeks. I have told myself over and over again that I need to blog, I need to blog, I NEED to BLOG! But I just haven't been able to bring myself to that oh so relaxing place where I am known and appreciated and people care about what happens in my life... Ok so maybe not, but for some reason I haven't been able to make my brain form sentences that describe anything even REMOTELY interesting about my life. Not to mention the fact that I have been reading some pretty awesome blogs as of late, and in comparison to amazing writers like Wil Wheaton and Cherie Priest, I pale like... like... LIKE... aw forget it.

So what's been happening in Keri Town? Well...

Marie had a birthday. She's 3. And with the new year comes a new appreciation for orneriness. (Ooh that's actually a word? Cool!) I tell you this kid is bi-polar or something. I do not exaggerate when I say that she is sweet and loving one second and BLAMMMO all of a sudden she's screaming and kicking on the floor. Very trying for mom, let me tell you.

The divorce is final. I got the papers this week in the mail. I also got something saying that my lawyer was no longer my lawyer. Am I supposed to take this personally? I thought I had him on retainer. Do I get my retainer back? I don't get it.

I'm working in the Balloons With A Twist office 2 days a week now while Marie's in school. So that's good.

Oh - Marie's in school. So that's good. Again.

Um... what else...

I got a gnarly sunburn on one side of my neck and on one arm when I worked a birthday party outside and forgot sunscreen. I stood in the same place for 2 hours while the sun baked the uncovered parts of half my body. I am reminded of when you cook a chicken and only the top gets brown. It was alot like that. I felt like I was in the oven and I wasn't being cooked evenly. Of course, it would have been fine if I had just remembered my sunscreen, but I didn't.

Speaking of red necks... har har.... My neighbors below us are true white trash. They're always screaming at each other and their kids. Then they play their music loud enough to make the floor vibrate. I'm not kidding on this either. I finally complained to management about it, but she just gave me a form to fill out. She said she needs "the complaint in writing in case we have to go to court. Besides, those residents have been very loyal to me and have followed me to 3 different properties. I also need it in writing so that you know I'm not playing favorites." That's when I informed her that there are about 50 people living in that apartment, (ok THAT was an exaggeration, more like 12 or 13), and I don't know how many people she knows of but I bet she doesn't know of them all. She said she'd look into it. I hope so. My patience is already thin from being sick and having a sick 3 year old. And I haven't been able to go to an Al-Anon meeting for over a week. AND I haven't had a cigarette in 5 days because I'm sick and I can't smoke when I'm sick... rrrrr....

Anyway. What else... Nikki brought the kids (her blog is GLIMPSES on my blogroll) to Marie's party. She is always so nice. She is the only person from church (aside from Diane the Relief Society President and Bishop Clark) that has stayed in contact with me. Oh! I have to text her back about a camera cord. Don't let me forget people!

Ack! I bunch of my Avatar DVDs are messed up! I am SOOO mad about that! I have to replace them ASAP.

OK I gotta go. The baby's calling.

:^*
